Sevier County’s one and only chalk festival is back for its 8th year this October at The Island.
The Island in Pigeon Forge features plenty of open concrete space, and what a better way to utilize it than by turning the massive space into a canvas? All professional and aspiring artists alike are invited to create a masterpiece. Chalk and concrete provided.
This Year’s Theme: Visions of Space. Celebrating all things celestial, from galaxies and stars, to the planets in our own solar system, space exploration, science-fiction, and more! Participating artists will be creating one of a kind pieces celebrating their unique perspectives on everything that is, or that could be, out there!

This can be as broad or specific as the artist likes. Draw a tent by a campfire, a zipline adventure through the Smokies, a surfer on Pacific waves, or a mountain climber summiting Everest. Just picture your dream adventure and bring it to life on the concrete at The Island. The sky is the limit, so head outside and start brainstorming.
