Tennessee Cider Company & Tennessee Homemade Wines at Tanger
This stop is the only one that isn’t in the heart of Downtown Gatlinburg but is an easy stop on your way into the area, or a final destination before you head home. Tanger Outlets in Sevierville is a popular shopping destination and offers ample free parking. You’ll find your sips and great southern hospitality right next door to Customer Services. With Tennessee Homemade Wines and Tennessee Cider Company underneath one roof you’ll get the best of both worlds. Trying to decide which is better, strawberry wine or hard cider? This is the spot to try both and see if you can pick a favorite!
Tennessee Cider Company
In the summer of 2019, Tennessee Cider Company opened their doors as Gatlinburg’s first hard cider house in the heart of downtown. They began with six summer flavors and a dream of consistent growth. Five years later, they’ve created and offered an impressive selection with a never-ending rotation of new and seasonal flavors. Peach Mimosa, Watermelon, Cider Donut, & Citrus Mash are just a handful of current options on the menu. You can never be sure of what they’ll come up with next, but you can count on every day being a good day to be thirsty at Tennessee Cider Company!
Smokin Banjo
Not only will you get to experience the #1 Winery in the state, Tennessee Homemade Wines and the original hard cider house of the Smokies, but the new Gatlinburg Winery Trail also includes the two newest and most unique wineries in town. First up, Smokin Banjo. The rebel of the rollin’ hills opened in June of 2024 and they’re already shaking things up and folks are loving it! Bubbly & sparkling wines as well as hard ciders with fun flavors like Banjo Blues, Sweet Heat, & Granny Smith will have your taste buds dancing and begging for more. This stop on the trail is located across from The Village and between Tennessee Cider Company and Tennessee Homemade Wines, making it a great mid-way stop on your Gatlinburg Winery Trail journey!
Tennessee Homemade Wines
The #1 Tennessee Winery is loved by folks all over the country that enjoy having their favorite tastes of Tennessee delivered to their door. That is, until they can make their way back in for more in person sips and a level of hospitality that they consistently praise. Tennessee Homemade Wines has been welcoming wine lovers and making them feel like family for the last 10 years, and they can’t wait to welcome you too. With 30 wines to choose from and fun extras like slush mixes, mulling spices and more – there’s something for everyone. Old Mountain Wine Company
Old Mountain Wine Company has one of the best locations on their Gatlinburg Winery Trail and it’s so great that you may not want to leave. You’ll find them right next to the entrance of the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains National Park at the end of the parkway. They have created an amazing ambiance with space for fellowship inside and outside on the patio. Meads, Wines, and hard ciders are made onsite and are available by the glass, flights, or bottles that can be consumed on the property. Stop in to sip & sit after a morning of hiking in the mountains or as you wander the shops and attractions in town.
