Read on to learn everything you need to know about this incredible Pigeon Forge event.

Where and When

Dollywood’s Great American Summer will run from June 14 – August 3, 2014. During the festival, the park will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. We’re sure you’ll make the most of these longer hours, because there is so much to do!

All of the fun will take place at the Dollywood theme park located at 2700 Dollywood Parks Blvd. in Pigeon Forge TN 37863.

What to Expect

One of the highlights of Great American Summer is the park’s “Nights of Many Colors”. Every evening, guests will enjoy an amazing fireworks display set to original music composed by Dolly Parton specifically for this event. There is nothing like watching a fireworks display as you zoom through the air on the Wild Eagle roller coaster!

Another very popular part of this Pigeon Forge event is the Gazillion Bubbles Show. This one of a kind performance features lasers, special effects, and of course, gazillions of bubbles!

It wouldn’t be summer in the Smokies without country music! This year, Dollywood’s Great American Summer will feature musical performances from Dolly’s family members, the Kingdom Heirs southern gospel quartet, the Smoky Mountain String Band, and many other talented artists. To see a list of all the great shows coming to the theme park, check out the official Dollywood website.
